EagleFax

Powerful, Efficient, and Versatile

EagleFax offers UNIX users a powerful hardware and software package to fax documents directly from their workstations, terminals, or applications. With EagleFax, you spend time on important things, while it efficiently manages the fax process. No more frustrating delays at the fax machine waiting for your turn; no more time wasted on retries. EagleFax dials again for you! EagleFax also integrates with your applications, providing the flexibility and versatility you need.

Designed for Fax Servers

EagleFax uses a fax server, via serial or network connection, to perform the conversion of text and graphics into Group III faxable images. This allows common files and graphics to be stored on the fax server for shared usage with any computer or workstation. EagleFax also off-loads a significant amount of processing from your computer to the fax server, leaving more CPU cycles available.

Cost Effective

Most companies are recognizing the 'dollar-wise' advantages of faxing rather that using mail or overnight services. EagleFax has many cost-saving features, only available through automation, which can save your company money. On-screen cover sheet generation, broadcasting, automatic retries, scheduling, e-mail notification and command line options for applications are just a few of the features that can help save communication dollars.

Consolidate Fax Resources

Why dedicate a fax system and phone line to a user or department for just a few faxes each week? EagleFax eliminates redundant hardware and communication lines. Utilizing a fax server, EagleFax consolidates faxing services and eliminates many inactive fax modems and phone lines.

Enterprise-Wide

Not only can a fax server with EagleFax serve your UNIX faxing needs, it can also be used as part of your 'enterprise-wide' faxing strategy. Other file servers such as Novell, Banyan, LAN Manager, LAN Server, and PathWorks can utilize the fax server. In addition, proprietary systems from IBM, DEC, Tandem, Data General, Hewlett-Packard, and others can simultaneously utilize the fax server. There are even gateways for Macs and PCs.

Puts You In Control

EagleFax is designed to provide system managers with an easy-to-implement fax solution in a multi-user environment. For fax management, the EagleFax maintenance feature logs the number of faxes sent, fax senders and receivers, transmission times and records of transmissions and retries. The user-friendly interface makes EagleFax easy-to-use and efficient, increasing productivity and reducing fax costs.
